Navajo

What attracts the eye to all of the above are the references to navajo print, texture and culture. There is freedom in the objects, beauty in the designs and a hint of heritage belonging to a culture that we do not fully understand...however, we are forever willing to replicate it, dress up in it and surround ourselves with it. It happily goes hand in hand with festival planning and allows one to escape the mundane regularity of city life. Take me to Nevada desert NOW!

The Bag

This photo of a Moroccan bag from blogger 5inchandup makes me go weak at the knees. Hot fuschia with engraved dirty silver... I want to find an equally idyllic clutch in emerald green & wear mine with gold. That is all.
