Being Ill...

...has it's perks, one of which is being able to remain horizontal on the sofa, watching anything and everything you so choose. For me this was King Kong ( I LOVE IT), endless episodes of Sex And The City (which I jointly love and detest in a never ending battle- Carrie is SO selfish and aren't they all a little too self involved??) and my favourite rom-com of all time, How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days- just brilliant. I always want to eat those Ribs mmmmm. There were three things that caught my attention, Naomi's beautiful pink night-slip that she is stolen from the boat wearing and dances to King Kong in (nightwear as day-wear has always appealed to me), selfish Carrie's horse shoe necklace and "Andy's" amazing first outfit- simply a crisp white shirt and a pencil skirt (and a gorgeous gold ring if you can spot it)

It's so easy to forget these fashion inspirations in every day life but Andy is the reason I'm always hunting for the perfect pencil skirt- quite simply from that opening scene in H. T. L. A. G. I. 10 days- watching it reminded me of that. In the same way Breakfast At Tiffany's will always bring back that want for a trench coat-Audrey wears one pulled tight in the final scenes. while she is becoming human in the rain, looking for Cat.
