Into The Blue

"I SHALL NOT BE MOVED"

My espadrilles are staging a protest. They've chained themselves to my feet in protest to events they find deeply distressed about- namely, the end of their holiday in Corsica.. poor dears. I am glad the weather has been glorious enough to continue wearing their increasingly tattered selves.. to be quite honest, even if it was hailing and lightning was flashing, I don't think I could tear them away from my feet. It is the last of my holiday and I as long as I keep them firmly superglued I will forever be on the beach (in my head) Yep that's right. Holiday is just a state of mind folks... just a state of mind.

In My Bathroom: Freda Coat

Oh Boy...

Since buying this charcoal, cashmere-mix, double breasted coat/jacket by Freda, I can honestly say it has been on my shoulders for the past three months. I had a bad dream that I had worn it so much it had gone bobbly and there were holes all over it... alas I awoke to find it was okay. More than okay, fan-bloody-tastic. How can a coat this simple and actually quite mannish be such a winner? The answer lies in the simplicity. It goes with EVERYTHING in my wardrobe, it adds structure to any outfit and most importantly it is neither black, nor grey but a charcoal hybrid. It's love. Please stay with me forever, dear coat. I can't find the exact model for you unfortunately and the cuts of the one's I can find aren't quite as cool but check out other styles HERE.

Favourite Things

I HAVE BECOME OBSESSED

OBSESSED I TELL YOU, WITH SHIRTS AND JEANS.

It is just SO easy. Although you really do get addicted to this style and one's legs become a never seen thing, hidden away behind black jean after black jean. Speaking of 'black jean' I today acquired what I like to think are the best version by MILES.

I have no idea how recent/not recent these babies are (for alas they were another Deuxieme find, but I do know they are by 7 4 All Mankind and they have these funny clip details at the back and they are INSANELY perfect. Low fitting, skinny just the right amount and most importantly, grazed at the perfect ankle point. I am also THRILLED with my sale purchase from La Redoute suede cage shoes (Now just £20, buy here) that are going to be taken out for a boogie just as soon as Spring is here.

What else.... well we are half way through the week already. How exciting. And with a cosy weekend in Somerset lined up, it couldn't get it's cheeky ass here sooner.

The Olden Days

Step Back

...In time, to days gone by...

And exquisite treasures you will find...

But why the need for all this rhyme?

I just don't know. Let's have a lime.

No idea why I just did that. Vintage Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags and Ferragamo pumps all from the marvelous Deuxieme.

Pretty Things

Home Sweet Home

We all have certain things that make us feel calm and serene. Some people like hot baths, some people like dolphin music and I find myself drawn to pastel colours. I never really realised this about myself until I looked around today and noticed that all my fave interiors are in hues of grainy pastels. Having a clean space to wake up to really affects how I work and think. I love bold colours in the living area where there are actual wars being fought between armies of tartan and tribal cushions but NOT in the bedroom-it HAS to be clean and serene... and that is NOT a euphemism peeps.

It was pretty darn great to get my camera charger delivered today. Back in the gaaaaaaaaaaaame biatches.

Tartan

Luckily...

My bathroom mirror is SO clean with not a trace of dried toothpaste in sight. Yesterday I wore my oversized cashmere jumper from Isabelle with woolen tights, my Etro tweed loafers (that need re healing BAAAAAAAAD) and a silk YSL scarf that I got for my birthday. Silk Scarves are where it's at for my right now, I can feel the waves of a GIGANTIC obsession washing over me as I write. They are just SO ACE. Taking any old outfit from boring, to special.

We have lots of beautiful scarves in the shop at the moment so browse online or pop in as SOME OS US HAVE TO WORK EVERY WEEKEND.

Little Pot Of Heaven

INSANE

There's gotta be a reason why buddhist monks use this to meditate for 18 hours at a time. With 120 x the antioxidants in normal green tea, this bad boy will replenish your mind/body/singing voice (???)

Dog's Collar

'Love'

...just doesn't cut it. I POSITIVELY ADORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE THIS BLOUSE. The collar makes you feel as though you are the pollen and the shirt is the flower (although that analogy makes me feel incredibly allergic, eye drops anyone? HATTTCHHHHEWWWW) This was a present from the best boyfriend in the world from the best shop in the world. CHECK it out (whoever can't spot the pun loses)
