Printed Silks

Light As A Feather

I loved wearing these two dotty silk creations together. Silk is just so ESSENTIAL in the heat. The skirt was from the Marni for H&M collection and the pyjama style blouse I bought in the Zara sale for £19.99. I love that Zara produce a few silk items to jewell the rails of polyester and nylon. Worn once again with my esppppieeessssssss. I have had some GREAT news in that my rental offer for a lovely terraced ground floor flat on Lavender Sweep has been ACCEPTED! Get ready for endless interior posts and I can't wait to share how we do the house up... with a sister who is more obsessed with interiors than me, it's going to be a visual feast! I am already considering hanging dried lavender on the fireplaces to mimic the street name and let the house smell as it should! Here's to New Beginnings! HAPPY FRIDAY Y'ALL

Into The Blue

"I SHALL NOT BE MOVED"

My espadrilles are staging a protest. They've chained themselves to my feet in protest to events they find deeply distressed about- namely, the end of their holiday in Corsica.. poor dears. I am glad the weather has been glorious enough to continue wearing their increasingly tattered selves.. to be quite honest, even if it was hailing and lightning was flashing, I don't think I could tear them away from my feet. It is the last of my holiday and I as long as I keep them firmly superglued I will forever be on the beach (in my head) Yep that's right. Holiday is just a state of mind folks... just a state of mind.

Worn with denim dress by Isabel Marant

Tartan

Luckily...

My bathroom mirror is SO clean with not a trace of dried toothpaste in sight. Yesterday I wore my oversized cashmere jumper from Isabelle with woolen tights, my Etro tweed loafers (that need re healing BAAAAAAAAD) and a silk YSL scarf that I got for my birthday. Silk Scarves are where it's at for my right now, I can feel the waves of a GIGANTIC obsession washing over me as I write. They are just SO ACE. Taking any old outfit from boring, to special.

We have lots of beautiful scarves in the shop at the moment so browse online or pop in as SOME OS US HAVE TO WORK EVERY WEEKEND.

Walk The Line

Clip Clop Clip Clop

Merry Saturday homies. Well it is for some of us. SOME of us are at work. Sigh. I have recently discovered the marvells of a good pair of shoes after spending pretty much (all) most of the time trying to slum it in unruly second hand toerags from Ebay. The above are a selection of my nearest and dearest. A shoe for every occassion. Perfectly rescilliant to all types of unforseen circumstances, are the entourage above. The red studded babes were £12 in the Zara sale. Real leather I tell you, and about the coolest and most comfortable high shoes I have ever laid my fair feet 'pon. The tweedy slipper shoes with the red piping are by Etro at Deuxieme (the shop I work in and can't stop banging on about) We have (by the by) opened a new little sister shop called Deuxieme Too! just accross the road which is selling more high end designer and it has a vintage section by Love Miss Daisy. The suede western boots are from Dorothy Perkins and they are THE BEST BLOODY BOOTS I HAVE EVER MET IN ALL MY TWENTY FOUR YEARS OF LIVING. My mum fell in love with them and she fears a purchase is iminent...God save our souls. The other boots are from a charity shop and H & M respectively. The pointed toes on the furthest away boots are great, real great. So that's it. Now I'm going to browse summer holidays...Figi anyone?

In my closet

In My Closet Bitches

These are my fave things at the minute. Or they were rather. I've been meaning to put these up for like, like, AGES but unfortunately I lost my camera lead. Sob Sob Sob Sob. I still love them a lot but since it's been so cold I've moved on to wooly jumpers that go down to my knees and who's hairs constantly get in my eyes and make me itch...ARGGGGGGGH.

So in no particular order whatsoever, the culprits are:

Mink hole jumper: Helmet Lang
Grey jumper: Isabel Marant
Black and grey holey poloneck: H&M
Arm Cuff: charity
Navajo bracelet: charity
Metal feather: present from the marvellous store of Emily Monk a la Burning Man Festival
Metal mesh belt: present from the rare kind of tiger that is Henri Talbot
Grey clutch/wallet: Bershka
Buckle Boots: Primark
Bowler hat: Coz I'm a bowler. Charity shop.
Shiny drape top: H&M
