Yeeee Haaaaaa

Western World

I caught myself a real snapper with these suede and navy embroidered boots by Moda La Pelle... They have been glued to my feet and with the colder winds approaching, they will most likely stay that way. Do you see how far £5 can go?? The joys of Ebay!

Walk The Line

Clip Clop Clip Clop

Merry Saturday homies. Well it is for some of us. SOME of us are at work. Sigh. I have recently discovered the marvells of a good pair of shoes after spending pretty much (all) most of the time trying to slum it in unruly second hand toerags from Ebay. The above are a selection of my nearest and dearest. A shoe for every occassion. Perfectly rescilliant to all types of unforseen circumstances, are the entourage above. The red studded babes were £12 in the Zara sale. Real leather I tell you, and about the coolest and most comfortable high shoes I have ever laid my fair feet 'pon. The tweedy slipper shoes with the red piping are by Etro at Deuxieme (the shop I work in and can't stop banging on about) We have (by the by) opened a new little sister shop called Deuxieme Too! just accross the road which is selling more high end designer and it has a vintage section by Love Miss Daisy. The suede western boots are from Dorothy Perkins and they are THE BEST BLOODY BOOTS I HAVE EVER MET IN ALL MY TWENTY FOUR YEARS OF LIVING. My mum fell in love with them and she fears a purchase is iminent...God save our souls. The other boots are from a charity shop and H & M respectively. The pointed toes on the furthest away boots are great, real great. So that's it. Now I'm going to browse summer holidays...Figi anyone?

Bleached

Pictures: Various on We Heart It

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

The cold blast of FRESH AIR. But seriously, how soothing are all these pictures?

Now I must warn you, I don't know what has happened over the last few weeks but I have gone interiors Cr-HAAAAYZAAAAAAAAAAAY. Pictures like the above thrill me even more than (and dare I even whisper it)....clothes. (don't worry it's porbs just a wierd stage I'm going through mmkay) It's just a joy to flick through interiors blogs online as I man the reception desks of Greater London. One of my fave things to do to help pass the time at the moment is to fill up my shopping basket until it gets to over a £100 and then just leave it all and make a dash from the site.....HAHA...so long losers! I'm not gona get any of that stuff!!!!! LOLZ

The secret joy of having everything in white is that even small spaces appear bigger and more airy. Furthermore, if your room isn't lucky enough to be swamped in light, white can give the illusion of natural light. Check out the clothes hooks below I've found on ebay for a great way to lift all that clutter off the floor and up onto your wall...There are TRILLIONS and TRILLIONNNNS on ebay and they are all no more than a few pounds.

Gd day y'all.

Tribnic

Tribnic is my word. Don't try and steal it.

Tribal and ethnic prints have dominated my wardrobe since I was a wee one. I am OBSESSED with the colour, vibrancy and life these pallettes and patterns can bring to a look. Only the other day I purchased a full on tribal coat from Deuxieme.

Even today, on what is essentially a dullish hungover Thursday, I am kidding myself into a false sense of joy by wearing a tribal friendship bracelt and hippy/ethnic jumper. I probably look ridiculous. But guess what? I don't care. Stick me in a Peruvian market for ten years and I think you'll find I would be in my element. Anyhoo, Solange Knowles embodies my ethnic-sophy (another of my words) better than anyone else. The truth is, I ADORE HER. She is probably my biggest style crush (apart from Audrey) of ALL time. If you feel even slightly like me about all things ethnic and tribal then perhaps you are interested to know the bracelets I have diligently hunted down for you are from Ebay and at an amazingly unpainful £3.99 (all the way from Kenya) they are a steal. Come and join me, life is way more fun in zig zagged colours. Trust.

White Out

Having always steered clear of white skinny jeans..I have unpredictably warmed to them of late. Perhaps it was Isabel Marant's navajo white jeans (see last pic) which have swayed me. By the by, I nipped into Liberty London on my lunch break to try them...words fail me. So not being all that rich (eternally afflicted in this area) I have turned to the person I always turn to, Ebay (yes it deserves personification) and I've come up trumps with some battered skinnies at an unlawfully cheap price. Tanks man.

In my closet

Sometimes it's good to have a bit of a sort out and get your head around what pieces you want to wear once the weather gets a bit chilly...
I, myself, me, like to chuck all summery things in a bin liner and put it in the wardrobe and re stock the shelf which housed such silky floral numbers with knits, knits and more knits.
Here are a few of my fave accessories at the moment. The burberry tea cosy hat was found at Capital Car Boot Sale and I share it with my boyfriend (although it is set to cause a lot of feuds I think!) The shoes, clutch and silk dotty men's evening scarf are from Deuxieme but originally from Topshop, Banana Republic and anonymous respectively. (Told you it was the place to shop!!) My gold armour cuff was found today for £2 at a charity shop on the Fulham Road as was the amazing silver tassle key ring on the bag. And my Caroline Hoxton battered leather bag was 0.99p on Ebay...Hell yer! Good labels do not have to cost the earth. Become a bargain hunter and you will be laughing.

Inspiration for bored girls who work

Everyone needs a bit of My Little Eye inspiration on grey days like the present. When London is particularly bland, bleak, 'phuh' then SPICE UP YOUR OUTFITS!!! I want to see flashes of leopard, I want to see buckled sandals, fraying hems on micro shorts, silver warrier rings, knuckle dusters and oversized clutches to arm you against the boredom. COME ON! All of the above score A**** from me. But it is Mrs White Shorts who has inspired me the most. I want it all. Especially the white frayed shorts. Also guys, I know I have been banging on forever about small, thin friendship bracelets with charms bla bla bla (i just love them SO) please seek solace on ebay when the weather is grey. Click here to see what I just got...You'll never guess! Loving x
