The Clutch

I DON'T MIND IF I DO

Nahhh Ahhhhh

NOT.ONE.BIT

I forgot how much fun it is to roam around charity shops, delve into dusty drawers and pull stuff up from the bottom of grubby looking cardboard boxes. This is mainly because my weekends are spent working as opposed to roaming free, like the wild cat I am inside. However one bright and fateful day in Clapham, not so very long ago, My Little Eye moved across   this little number, hidden in a drawer at the back of a dusty charity shop. The joy of it...and £1 later it was mine.

Easy Ethereal

Valentino skirt: Deuxieme
Susie Gallagher Skirt: Deuxieme
Leopard skin/snake skin Vintage M&S shirt: Charity shop

Float like an angel AND stay toasty...
Just because it's getting colder outside does NOT mean you have to put your sheers away. Oh no. Layer floaty, ethereal, see through, mermaid-like skirts with woolen tights and chunky knits (even wooly socks and biker boots) to get a look straight off the Alexander Wang A/W 2011 catwalk. Oh how I pine for a pale pink silk skirt to rock the look even more... See below.

Double Decker

Shirt: Vintage M&S
Trousers: Originally Zara found in charity shop on Fulham Road.

Are you brave enough to wear print...twice?

The A/W 2011 campaign for Chloe (as I blogged about previously) depicts sheer snakeskin in rusts, golds, stones and turquoises and as is the way with the fashion big dogs, now, my all time favorite animal print is bursting out of the British High Street as though there were real serpents in there... I'm not complaining however. I blooming well love the stuff. So much so that I have toyed with a double entendre. It takes two bab-ay-ayyyyyyy. You and you.

In my closet

Sometimes it's good to have a bit of a sort out and get your head around what pieces you want to wear once the weather gets a bit chilly...
I, myself, me, like to chuck all summery things in a bin liner and put it in the wardrobe and re stock the shelf which housed such silky floral numbers with knits, knits and more knits.
Here are a few of my fave accessories at the moment. The burberry tea cosy hat was found at Capital Car Boot Sale and I share it with my boyfriend (although it is set to cause a lot of feuds I think!) The shoes, clutch and silk dotty men's evening scarf are from Deuxieme but originally from Topshop, Banana Republic and anonymous respectively. (Told you it was the place to shop!!) My gold armour cuff was found today for £2 at a charity shop on the Fulham Road as was the amazing silver tassle key ring on the bag. And my Caroline Hoxton battered leather bag was 0.99p on Ebay...Hell yer! Good labels do not have to cost the earth. Become a bargain hunter and you will be laughing.
