Intimates At Free People
Never was there Ever...
...an online shopping destination that was so carefully edited that it made me want ALL of the things they showcased. Free People has finally landed on UK soils and my goodness there are a lot of things to be found on this white washed website.
Browsing through their 'intimates' section is like suddenly finding oneself on a secluded white sand beach, toes in the cold salty water, bottom on fine grained sand and face to the sun! Dream on. We're right smack-bam in January's bleak, bluesy belly.... WELL TACKLE IT WITH DAY DREAMING. That's what I say. I find planning a weekend away and making lists infinitely soothing. Right now I am imagining wearing the grey crop top above with a matching pencil skirt and strappy heels to go out dancing.... NA na na naaaaaaa. Check out Free People for yourselves and go on a little day trip to imaginations infinite realms of joy.
Now, I should be receiving my new camera charger ASAP and so I can finally (after losing my Iphone and hence camera) have a way of taking some pics. I have so many things to share with you, from Christmas presents, to new bargain finds, Deuxieme goodies and outfit posts. Bring on the camera charger!
Merry Monday!

Photo Diary: TOPSHOP Unique Show
Pics: Mine
Urban Street Cool...
...for prices that were miles more realistic than any other show during London Fashion Week. TOPSHOP had a star studded show with Anna Wintour (who swept past me with an OTT fur coat) Alexa, Rita Ora and Olivia Palermo driving the awaiting paps into a frenzy, such is the global appeal of this high street brand. See my previous post for all their pictures.
The designs, not groundbreaking, but cool, understated and urban. The colour scheme was muted with berry reds, khakis and earthy tones. The strongest look was the printed trousers and the navy sweater with a soft neck bun and fly away fringe. These kind of printed cigarette pants were dominating the catwalks and a whole array of celebrities including Poppy Delevigne and Olivia P were wearing them to the shows in patterns, florals and prints. The layered uniform look featured heavily in this show. There was very much a "utility" feel to each look. Industrial and Military work wear made cool. The models were gorgeous, more so than in any of the other shows where quite frankly, as Alex put it, "they looked soul-less." They must have been exhausted but my goodness, some of them looked hungry. The TOPSHOP girls, or at least the show seemed to have more inward energy. This is not including Jonathan Saunders or Louise Gray, which were both electrifying.
It was very exciting to be there and sit so close to the clothes as they sauntered past. At least with this show you could imagine actually owning something in the collection!
