...Is the word of the month. Along with the colour "grey", (see faithful use of it above) I have realised the enormous potential of having skirts in one's wardrobe. Why have I only just seen the light?, I ask you! They are AWESOME. The drapey black number above is by an Aussie label called SABA.(shop skirts here) The problem I have with this blog is that as all my clothes are from the dress agency I work in, it is so rare I can give an actual link to an item as they are pretty much all from past seasons. HOWEVER, I will try and get into the habit of finding a similar item for ya's. So let's give it a go! Here is the nearest I can find and guess what? "WHAT?" It's only £10... Merry Saturday homies. Well it is for some of us. SOME of us are at work. Sigh. I have recently discovered the marvells of a good pair of shoes after spending pretty much (all) most of the time trying to slum it in unruly second hand toerags from Ebay. The above are a selection of my nearest and dearest. A shoe for every occassion. Perfectly rescilliant to all types of unforseen circumstances, are the entourage above. The red studded babes were £12 in the Zara sale. Real leather I tell you, and about the coolest and most comfortable high shoes I have ever laid my fair feet 'pon. The tweedy slipper shoes with the red piping are by Etro at Deuxieme (the shop I work in and can't stop banging on about) We have (by the by) opened a new little sister shop called Deuxieme Too! just accross the road which is selling more high end designer and it has a vintage section by Love Miss Daisy. The suede western boots are from Dorothy Perkins and they are THE BEST BLOODY BOOTS I HAVE EVER MET IN ALL MY TWENTY FOUR YEARS OF LIVING. My mum fell in love with them and she fears a purchase is iminent...God save our souls. The other boots are from a charity shop and H & M respectively. The pointed toes on the furthest away boots are great, real great. So that's it. Now I'm going to browse summer holidays...Figi anyone?

Autumnal Delights

I know we are technically still in summer but I couldn't help spot these exciting looks for Autumn/Winter 2011. The top one is Charles Anastase, the second is none other than the wonderful Christopher Kane (crochet in winter...I think so!) and the following pics are taken from the Etro show.

I have a HUGE weakness for Etro. Being a print junkie, the idea of pairing tangerine-orange, with sky blue printed silk, block-coloured shearling and everything in between, fills me with JOY I tell you. JOOOOOOOOY. The eccentricity of many of the A/W shows really does make it easier for us to walk out of the house like a dip dyed sheep and get away with it.
