Ordered

I've told you once and I'll tell you again!

DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THE ABSOLUTE ONE STOP SHOP FOR AMAZING SUEDE FOOTWEAR THAT IS..... (drums and trumpets please) bang-gang-tootdedooooooot- LA REDOUTE!

My favourite place to get comfortable, well made and WELL PRICED shoes. I am gathering quite the collection from this French catalogue. Watch out for the flash sales that happen ALL the time. Simply wait your time and items are pretty much always cut by up to 50% like my latest purchase above. Pay on their credit system and then simply return via a free courier if you don't like the item- A.B.C! So quite simply, you don't like, you don't pay and when you do you can do it in installments (if you need to)

Ohhhhh je t'aime La Redoute!

Favourite Things

I HAVE BECOME OBSESSED

OBSESSED I TELL YOU, WITH SHIRTS AND JEANS.

It is just SO easy. Although you really do get addicted to this style and one's legs become a never seen thing, hidden away behind black jean after black jean. Speaking of 'black jean' I today acquired what I like to think are the best version by MILES.

I have no idea how recent/not recent these babies are (for alas they were another Deuxieme find, but I do know they are by 7 4 All Mankind and they have these funny clip details at the back and they are INSANELY perfect. Low fitting, skinny just the right amount and most importantly, grazed at the perfect ankle point. I am also THRILLED with my sale purchase from La Redoute suede cage shoes (Now just £20, buy here) that are going to be taken out for a boogie just as soon as Spring is here.

What else.... well we are half way through the week already. How exciting. And with a cosy weekend in Somerset lined up, it couldn't get it's cheeky ass here sooner.

Shoes: La Redoute
Blouses: Isabel Marant and Unknown, Deuxieme
Jeans: 7 4 All Mankind, Deuxieme

Stone grey...

...but ONE HUNDRED MILLION MILES away from being dull. I would very VERY much like both of these thank you very much. The scarf print shirt is really something spesh, I got EMOSH just even looking at it. I have recently fallen back in love with an ex lover of mine...La Redoute. FANTASTIC and virtually unused by most of the young girls I know. This seems a real shame considering their footwear is quality stuff and reasonably priced. But please don't get the boots above before me...or I'll have to kill you. No really.

So what's new guys???? I have started reading the Michael Collins biography by Tim Pat Coogan. For anyone who doesn't know (and I don't know quite who hasn't heard me drunkenly blabbing on about how he's related to me or in my normal wording, "his blood is running through my veins guys") he is my great grandfathers cousin. This biography is fascinating. My relative was brave, fearless and loved Ireland more than he loved himself. He was an original revolutionary and like most, died for the cause. He was asassinated in August 1922. His daddy new exactly what his young son would be and when our Mick was just 6 years old, his father said of him  "One day he'll be a great man. He'll do great work for Ireland" and so he did. Us Collins' are very lucky to have the name we do and hopefully some of his spirit was passed down to all of us.
