The Boots

She wore black boots. She was KICKASS cool.

Here are the seven wonders of the world. Topshop have NAILED it this winter and above, I have chosen one black boot for every occasion for ya'll, keeping in mind the need for chunky-sock room (m&s by the way!) and toasty feet. All the above are under the £85 marker but all possess a great deal of sturdy longevity and trans-seasonal cool points. Maybe one of these seven will make it on to your Christmas list hmm?

Personally, I am holding out for 6. or 7. Which boot do you want to kick it in?

Ta-da luvvies!!

In my closet

Sometimes it's good to have a bit of a sort out and get your head around what pieces you want to wear once the weather gets a bit chilly...
I, myself, me, like to chuck all summery things in a bin liner and put it in the wardrobe and re stock the shelf which housed such silky floral numbers with knits, knits and more knits.
Here are a few of my fave accessories at the moment. The burberry tea cosy hat was found at Capital Car Boot Sale and I share it with my boyfriend (although it is set to cause a lot of feuds I think!) The shoes, clutch and silk dotty men's evening scarf are from Deuxieme but originally from Topshop, Banana Republic and anonymous respectively. (Told you it was the place to shop!!) My gold armour cuff was found today for £2 at a charity shop on the Fulham Road as was the amazing silver tassle key ring on the bag. And my Caroline Hoxton battered leather bag was 0.99p on Ebay...Hell yer! Good labels do not have to cost the earth. Become a bargain hunter and you will be laughing.

Friday Fantasy

It's Friday again so time to share with you this week's Friday Fantasy. I am lusting after the usual culprits. The Topshop boots with the gold heel are number one on the list. At £65 I think you get an item that looks and feels far more expensive. Nicole Ritchie's House of Harlow never fails to get me. The pale golds and coppers teamed with her rustic, grecian designs mean that I am always dreaming of one of her clever creations. The key knuckle ring and horseshoe bracelet beat the rest to the top of my wishlist. Next up we have the thin loose knit from Asos in white. This summer all I seem to want to wear are loose knits with ripped jeans. It gets around our 'interesting' weather issues. I read somewhere it is as though you have your own 'air conditioning' installed. Like that a lot. And love loose knits. Now we have the fettishy creation from Tamzin Lillywhite called the 'Aerion Bag'...mother may I. FCUK is up next (never really look at their stuff) but found this great knuckle ring by roaming the internet. Its a steal at £15 and I want it a lot, a lorralorra. Finally (and yes I know I care way too much about rings) we have this wonderful armour ring from Kenneth Jay Lane at £33 in the sale. Friday Fantasies are the best.

Somewhere in between cornflower blue and lilac...

I just can't find the perfect shade of nail varnish. I want a mixture of everything in the above to paint my toenails in this summer but where is the perfect shade to be found? Rhianna's nails in 'what's ma name' are the prototype. HELP.

Flowers pictured in my garden. TOPSHOP Nails £5 each and ESSIE from Asos in Lilacism.
