Autumn's Most Wanted

New Kid 'Elma' Brogues on ASOS here

An Ode To September...

Well blow me down, leaves and call me 'Larry', these
brogue come zipper-slippers are delectable and are firmly on my Autumn's Most Wanted list. Each day it grows longer, winding ferociously towards the heavens like Jack's beanstalk. God help me. I do love September. Sunny, crisp days where the burnt orange leaves dance and skip along the ground. This is the time of year where god awful summer florals are suddenly swept away in favour of masculine lines and navy blue...thank the lord.

Just a spoon full of sugar

Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

One Teaspoon is a super cool Australian label that clever old ASOS has snapped up faster than you can say "G'd Day Mate". Check out these bleached, raw cut, denim shorts with beautiful, soft lace trim. I have been hunting down some silk, pyjama-esque shorts for the past few weeks: no lingerie store has been safe from my creepy advances, but alas, Intimissi failed me, H&M let me down and don't even get me started on La Senza. The shorts above are obviously a holiday to Southern Italy to the eyes, but just know that the price will not be quite so soothing and will make those eyes water...a lot. Even in the sale they are a whopping NINTY SIX POUNDS PEOPLE. Sometimes I feel I am the only one that has noticed the WORLD HAS GONE MAD and a pair of iddy diddy shorts can be the best part of 100 smackaroonies. Forever a bargain hunter, I will leave these fair fellows to you as I pursue othe Ebay shaped avenues in the search for my lacey silk prototype, mwahahahahahHAHAAHAHA

Uniqlo merino cashmere mix poloneck

Zara red waxed trousers

Cheap monday suede boots

Browsing through the Sunday supplements today (my weekend ritual) got me old ticker going. They are so darn good. Especially STYLE-what a mag! Reds, burnt oranges, suede's and cashmere are splattered all over their glossy pages at the moment. Here are some of my faves from all over the net...

The Dress

So sozzle about the miniture pics but I simply HAD to show you this fabulous FABULOUS sheer knit dress from ASOS who can (by the way) do no wrong at the moment. Trust me, I visit their 'new in' section each day (window shopping I might add) and there are some real trans-seasonal gems. So to say I am pining for this number above is an understatement. I am LUSTING. I am LONGING...I am IMAGINING all the things I could wear it to and all the comments and gasps it would draw... I've never felt unrequited love such as this before...Click here to get your paws on a masterpiece. Jelly.

Friday Fantasy

It's Friday again so time to share with you this week's Friday Fantasy. I am lusting after the usual culprits. The Topshop boots with the gold heel are number one on the list. At £65 I think you get an item that looks and feels far more expensive. Nicole Ritchie's House of Harlow never fails to get me. The pale golds and coppers teamed with her rustic, grecian designs mean that I am always dreaming of one of her clever creations. The key knuckle ring and horseshoe bracelet beat the rest to the top of my wishlist. Next up we have the thin loose knit from Asos in white. This summer all I seem to want to wear are loose knits with ripped jeans. It gets around our 'interesting' weather issues. I read somewhere it is as though you have your own 'air conditioning' installed. Like that a lot. And love loose knits. Now we have the fettishy creation from Tamzin Lillywhite called the 'Aerion Bag'...mother may I. FCUK is up next (never really look at their stuff) but found this great knuckle ring by roaming the internet. Its a steal at £15 and I want it a lot, a lorralorra. Finally (and yes I know I care way too much about rings) we have this wonderful armour ring from Kenneth Jay Lane at £33 in the sale. Friday Fantasies are the best.

The Sales

The sales are on. It's what everyone's talking about so it's thrilling that I can't afford anything. But never mind. Asos is a gem at the moment. All the above are massively discounted. The scalloped Chloe underwear also comes in mustard yellow..so good with a tan. If I could pick one...the Opening Ceremony Chantal Platforms at the bottom. Mmmmmm
